It’s already 10:48 P.M. on my clock. I’m here all alone inside my room and thinking of the days that have passed. This could have been a mortal sin for my blog and an insult to my memories if I would not continue to express or to tell the things that had happened to me these past few months. As I promised, this post will be the grandest of all posts for this might be the last one for the year 2006. I’m really having a hard time now on how to start. Well, here goes nothing…
Everyone @ 18
11-25-2006 The last dinner party that I should have attended was Amor’s. I was invited as one of the 18 shots. Unfortunately, I had flu on the night of November 24 and I was not feeling well to shake off my booty on the dance floor. Many people commented that Amor’s debut is one of the grandest parties ever. It was held at Mangoes’ Farm at Antipolo City wherein they hired a DJ and a live band that made the crowd jumpin’ jumpin’. Just imagine what it’s like to be there! I really want to apologize to Amor… Sorry! And, sobrang belated happy birthday!
Sorry seems to be the hardest word…

11-04-2006 Garette celebrated her 18th birthday at Jade Valley. It’s a very special occasion for me because it’s not only a birthday celebration of Garette but also a reunion of my circle of friends at UST. Once again, I had so much fun and enjoyed the company of my friends especially in that point of time when I was longing for their jokes, laughs, smiles, voices and attitudes. Actually, I so miss them up to now. Perhaps, it will be a long way to go before we could see each other again.
After the dinner at Jade Valley, we decided to try on the macho mug at Quattro. We all had Red Horse as the choice of what kind of beer. Myco and Lorraine who were cheating only had two bottles of San Mig Light each. We really had a good time throwing jokes at each other. Our topic was as hot as the sisig’s sizzling plate. At three o’ clock in the morning, we decided to hop on Starbucks Malate. I tried to taste by this time chocolate cream chips but I still prefer my flavor, caramel… We talked about the stuffs regarding on what had happened to us during our early years at college. Maybe, we treasure all these things, and it’s the reason why we haven’t got bored on repeating the same stories again and again...
Everyone was down but the night was still high… We all ended everything and I safely went home.
As I was alone along the way home, I thought to myself that me and my friends are gonna celebrate, one more time, music got me feeling so free, celebrate and dance for free.

11-20-2006 With the celebration of Angela’s 18th Birthday, I had the opportunity to be with my high school friends once more.
Kim fetched me from my house with her wheels. She was with Faye. They both looked so stunning with their attires. As we enter Kapitan Moy, the venue of the dinner party, eyes were all focused to the three of us. But of course, we looked so elegant for a semi-formal gathering.
Since we didn’t like to end the night at a low point and since Kim’s car was overflowing with gasoline, we had decided to have a joyride. I really enjoyed the night riding in that car despite the fact that we didn’t have a permanent destination. From Kapitan Moy, we went to a Shell station near Tiendisitas (I actually forgot the name of the place that Kim used to call it, damn it!). We didn’t find any interesting stuffs there so we had decided to go to Blue Wave Roxas. However, while we were on the way to the said place, we had encountered a heavy traffic at EDSA. As a result, we ended up going back to a Shell station located at Antipolo by this time.
At the place, we found ourselves so bored. So, Faye decided to call on her two friends who also happened to be out on the night. They were actually at Gilly’s ( I am not quite sure about the name of the place but it’s located near ABS-CBN!). Since they were the ones who would treat the drinks, we, from Antipolo, had fetched them at Gilly’s. I really had so much fun joyriding with my friends due to the soothing music from the radio. I actually fell in love with the song of Frankie-J, How to Deal. Well, as the story goes on, after meeting Faye’s friends, Chino and Charlo, we went to a bar located at Katipunan (Oh, what’s this? An amnesia? Why am I forgetting things? Hehehe!). And then after the so boring drinking session, we returned the two high school boys, (Gosh, this is child abuse!), who didn’t seem like ones, to their houses safely.
Perhaps, I was the happiest person that time because it has been my dream to have a joyride with nothing to worry about. It was about five o’ clock in the morning when I had gotten home.
You know what? You, too, can join us to ride the next time we ride… when we ride, we ride, its still the day that we die.

10-10-2006 Shiela’s birthday was celebrated at JB Star at Marikina Heights. I was so late and I had found that program into a close. I apologized to Shiela for what had happened. I explained to her that I had taken my Final Examination at Ateneo De Manila University. Due to its late schedule, which was in the afternoon of 1-5, I really had a complicated time coping up with my other appointments.
At the party, I found my best friend, Noriel, and some of my high school barkadas. Noriel who happened to be going out with his friends left me with Joyce and Danisse. We talked about, of course, how life is in college… For them, it’s very tough to pursue their career choice… But for me, I boasted to them that it’s very easy to take Education as my degree… As I’m always saying, I love myself it’s not a sin, I can’t control what’s happening. Cause I just discover imagination’s taking over…
We’re supposed to sleep at a room reserved for the guests; however, Danisse was worrying about her mom who didn’t find it nice to stay overnight. So we already parted our ways and went home safely.

10-04-2006 My best friend’s birthday celebration was held at Yellow Cab Blue Wave.
I really got pleasure from the two 18’’ pizzas that Noriel ordered for us. Nothing extraordinary happened that night except for some people who were trying hard to be extraordinary!
Oops, I did it again… I play with your heart gonna lost in this game… Oh baby baby… Oops, you think I’m in love… But I’m not because it’s I, Ricky, who’s talking, not a lover but a hater!
High on Pizzas!

09-23-2006 Lanelle took the pleasure of inviting me to share with her the joy of celebrating her 18th birthday in a dinner party last 23rd of September 2006. We had it at Dad’s Glorietta 3, Ayala Center.
I didn’t like to go there by myself so I had decided to set off with Wowie with his wheels. On the way to Makati, we fetched Alvin, Myco and Andrew at Ortigas. Then we straightly went to the venue of the debut. The call time was at five in the afternoon but we arrived there at seven in the evening. Maricon was alone waiting for us to arrive. After we had just got to the place, Cheryl’s group arrived.
Together, we shared the place full of different kinds of food, from the Filipino cuisine to the Japanese specialties and to the European delicacies. I really enjoyed that eat-all-you-can gathering!
After depositing a huge amount of food in our stomachs, Liza, Cheryl and I decided to go to Tagaytay Starbucks. However, it was already 11 P.M. and it was very dangerous for us to travel from Mamila to Tagaytay. So, we just came to a decision of just going to Starbucks near Chili’s where we bought our One Water Baller. At two o’clock in the morning, we hopped in at Mc Donald’s near the Medical Center where we just ate lots and lots of French fries. As we went outside the fast food place, we went to the gas station’s shop to buy some stuff. Nothing nice could be seen in the surroundings so we just chose to look for a Motel where we could spend the remaining hours of the night. Unfortunately, we hadn’t found an affordable one so we just decided to spend the night at Cheryl’s Domicile. I really had craved for chocolates that night so I told Cheryl to get some from their fridge. She gave Liza and I Hershey Kisses with Almond Nuts. Deeply thinking about how many chocolates that I had already eaten, I fell asleep. I woke up at exactly 6:05 in the morning and found the two deeply asleep, especially Cheryl! Alas, as Liza had been awakened I told her to work herself out so that the two of us could go to our own destinations. Also, as Cheryl heard the noise that we had unintentionally made, she woke up and accompanied us to the staircase to bid farewell.
We really had a long night despite the fact that we got so bored on the places that we just had visited. I hope that this kind of event is to repeat itself. And if it does, see you at the crossroads, crossroads, crossroads, see you at the crossroads, crossroads, crossroads.

09-08-2006 Maricon humbly prepared a simple gathering for the celebration of her 18th birthday. It was Friday and unfortunately it was my Advance Volleyball class. But I didn’t allow any stupid class to interrupt the event of Maricon’s life. I cut classes for the sake of Maricon’s happiness. I really fell into the spell of each and every food that I could taste on Kamayan Restaurant at West Ave. This was the first eat-all-you-can party and the second was Lanelle’s. My stomach was jam-packed with the food that I had eaten from Dad’s Corner to the Kamayan’s and Saisaki’s!
This date also happened to be the celebration of Francis’ birthday. So, after the lunch party at West Ave., we straightly went to Francis’ Condo located at Greenhills. This was the second time I had been to Avalon Condo. As what I did the first time I had gotten there, I whirled some water from the pool! I really love the atmosphere that night because it was raining so hard and still we were splashing cool water in the pool. It was so memorable that I couldn’t forget the ridiculous things that Renz and his company had done. They were all getting nude nearby the pool and was singing, “Hot na hot mula ulo hanggang paa. Hot na hot!” It was so hilarious that I was bursting into laughter all night long! Since my family didn’t know about the affair, I needed to go home earlier than them. Actually, they still went to Timog to end the night there!
These two parties don’t deserve to be forgotten for the many out of the ordinary happenings. They are part of the events of my life that I will love more today than yesterday!

Geary's Birthday was as usual celebrated at his house. We really had a nice gathering. We used his uncle's videoke machine to sing songs that would likely disturbed the whole world!

At Da PitWe flashed in the toilet our problems away by drinking three bottles of Red Horse Beer each!
Ibuhos na ang beer sa aking lalamunan, upang malunod na ang puso kong nahihirapan… Bawat patak anong sarap… ano ba talagang mas gusto ko, ang beer na ‘to o ang pag-ibig mo?

Shhhhh...At Kings FortThe barkada had some misunderstandings that made it split into two groups. That was the reason why we had gone to Da Pit, to forget the problems and not to bother with it! However, as the wounds from the two parties were healed, we needed to reunite as one. That was why we hit Kings Fort, to celebrate the peaceful mind of everyone.
Maglabas ka pa ng baso, at tatagayan ko kayo… Tama na ‘yan inuman na, oi pare ko tumagay ka… Nanabik na lalamunan, naghihintay nag-aabang!

Golden Goldies!
Once again, UST has proved that they are the team to beat! It’s amazing to know that the multi-titled Salinggawi Dance Troupe bagged their five-peat championship crown. In addition, UST Growling Tigers bested ADMU, no.1 team during the eliminations, in the Best of Three of the UAAP Basketball. Similarly, the UST Growling Tigresses took home the Championship Trophy. Truly, UST is not only a seasonal champion but a dominant competitor of the league. As a matter of fact, UST has been UAAP’s General Champion for 32 years. And, this season 69 is not an exemption for it’s 33rd General Championship! Go USTe!
I watched the game 1 of the best of three at Araneta Coliseum after I had taken my examination in my CWTS class. Liza fetched me from the gate of the Coliseum to give me my ticket. I was with her, Cheryl, Maricon, Geary, Carlo and Myco!
I also watched the 2006 UAAP Cheerdance Competition with Venir, Lanelle, Chamy, Lorraine and Liza. The Far Eastern University gave a close fight and they bested the University of the Philippines who only bagged the third place. There’s no rivalry anymore! We already know who’s who in the field of Sports!
We are the champions, Thomasians the champions!
Broken Dreams
I was so inspired by what has been happening to my life now… Maybe, this poem that I personally made reflects what I am feeling to this very point…
I was hoping that one day as I wake up, I could feel other feelings that is not the same as this… and it somehow works with the help of some of my friends who are sharing a heart full of love for when I am feeling low, hang up an extra-shiny star for when I am feeling lost and fluff up my dreams when I need fresh hope.
It’s still a beautiful world,
You said that I have to be bold.
In spite the fact that I have failed,
You’re there hearing me to be hailed.
Perhaps, you’re such a friend,
Waiting for me to succeed until the end.
Giving me courage, and saying words of hope,
Not letting go of the weak rope.
Like a vase easily broken,
You’re there lying so wide open.
There’s nothing I can do the force is so high.
I have to let go and say goodbye!
I’m a fighter, my friends and foes know… That’s why I would not let go of that impression. However, the pace seems slow but I still believe that I will succeed with another blow! So…
Listen to the song here in my heart, a melody I start but can complete. Listen to the sound from deep within, it’s only beginning to find release. I’m free now for my dreams to be heard. They will not be pushed aside or turned! Listen to the song here in my heart, a melody I start BUT I will complete!
Nine Nights
With my mom and with my cousin, I totally prepared the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ by assisting the anticipated Simbang Gabi. It has been nine nights of sacrifice of time just to attend the mass. But you know what? It’s worth it. It was not only because of attending the mass but also of peeping on my acolyte crush! OMG! He’s so damn cute… And take note, he’s a rich young man. Just imagine how to be a son of an owner of a big-time caterer! I actually saw him on the first night of Simbang Gabi listening to he’s iPOD.
I really don’t have any idea if he ever knows me. But every time that I would see him, he’s always looking at me, maybe because he likes me! (JOKE) No, maybe, he’s just bothered by the fact that I’m always looking at him! He’s so damn cute! But if he will ever court me, he has a long way to go… rock with me now!

Missin' Everyone!
